Summer employment

I have been given a job over the summer. I will be a half RA half RD during the summer writing workshop at Simon's Rock. The job will be about three and a half weeks long, and I will be sharing an RD apartment (two or three bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room) with another half RA half RD. Room and board is free, and I'll make some money on top of that.

I'm very excited. The summer writing workshop is for kids in grades nine through twelve, and they have a curfew (which is nice) and we'll be doing activities with them when they are not in classes. So basically I will be a camp counsellor.

I think for the month and a half this summer I won't be working at the rock or in Ireland, I will undertake some large project that I can do for a set amount of hours every day. I am thinking a short novel or a collection of short stories (the second is more likely). Or perhaps some huge knitting project, I don't really know.

Anyway, that's my news. I find out tonight about my job for next year.

News Story

Tim and Niko are on the news video, interviewed by a news reporter(you know Tim).

The roof is on fire.

This is Carriage House. It's a dorm on upper campus. It's where Tim lived until last night, when this happened.

Everyone is fine, but no one can live in the dorm for the rest of the semester, and they don't really know where to put people. Luckily, only seven people lived in the dorm in the first place (there are only twelve rooms, and some of them tend to flood).
